| This is a great first step toward getting your children to carry a pocket scripture with them every day of the year. We made a special set of long skinny scriptures so they can be wrapped around a pencil more easily. Use them plain or let the kids decorate the back. This activity works especially well if you tell the children there will be a small prize for anyone who brings their pencil back next week and can tell you the verse without unwrapping it. Carrying the scripture with you adds a lot to any verse a child memorizes. | |
