| EVEN EASIER, MORE FUN, AND DIVINELY POWERFUL...IT'S ALL TRUE The idea is not new. You poke two holes in a paper plate and thread a piece of yarn through the holes so it can be hung from the wall. Then you glue
some seeds (beans, peas, mustard seed from the spice section of your local grocer etc. (It could be dangerous to use seeds packaged for planting as many have been treated with chemicals). The kids glue one or more scriptures in the center
of the plate and then glue seeds around the outside. The idea is that hiding a scripture in your heart is like planting a seed.
If you ignore it it will not grow. Seeds need water. Scriptures need to be taken to God and prayed over. Once a scripture starts to grow in your heart you will KNOW that God is real, and mighty, and that he loves you.
MATERIALS All you need are some paper plates...yarn...a page of pocket scriptures... and some mustard seed and beans from the grocery store. |
